When Chrétien was Prime Minister, he and his government
repeatedly supported the
so-called “right” of
the U.S. to illegally
invade Iraq.
And, he even criticised Canadians who dared to question, let alone
protest, the Iraq
war because, Chrétien said, by doing so we were giving comfort to Saddam
Hussein.
