The U.S. is increasingly being recognized as the biggest threat to world
peace.
So, in order to win popular support, Canadian politicians must try to at least appear
to oppose
America's
wars.
But
our government doesn't
actually
have to
do
much of anything. All
they need is a PR campaign that creates the illusion of
opposition.
And, as long as the media plays along, they’re in business.
