Here’s a Light Armored Vehicle
made by General Dynamics in London Ontario. These Canadian vehicles have
collectively covered many millions of miles in Iraq since 2003.
Hundreds of them have been returned to London to be refurbished,
upgraded and returned to the Iraq war.

More than a billion dollars worth
of these Canadian vehicles were sold to Saudi Arabia in the 1990s. It was
the single biggest military contract in Canadian history.

Saudi Arabia is one of Canada’s
larger buyers of military hardware. Earlier this year a CADSI led
delegations took Cdn company representatives to that country to rustle up
    export business.

The last company I’ll focus on is
    based here in Ottawa.
