Besides not mentioning the
expulsion of an elected MP from Parliament, Harper of course never mentioned
before or since the fact that Afghanistan’s parliament is dominated by war
lords and drug lords, or that tens of thousands of innocent civilians
have been killed as a direct or indirect consequence of the war since 2001.
