In August 2001, Forbes Magazine had an article about three
companies that it said would benefit most from George Bushs
support for missile defense weapons development:
* DRS Technologies (which builds SIRIUS),
* L-3 Communications (which recently bought CMC Electronics) and
* EMS Technologies.
Forbes referred to the Canadian branch of EMS Technologies
in St. Anne de Bellevue, Quebec, which makes
hardware for space and satellite communications, radar,
surveillance and military countermeasures.
On its website, EMS lists only four clients for its Space & Technology products. They are none other than the so called Big Four prime contractors for missile defense weapons systems.
As EMS said: Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman rely on EMS to provide critical components for radar, secure communications and electronic warfare systems.
