Meggitt

For the past eight years, this Medicine Hat-Alberta company has been exporting its Uninhabited Aerial Vehicles, to the U.S. Navy.

These drones, called “The Vindicator,” are still being used as targets in US war games.

Meggitt Canada’s targets have been used in at least 17 “tracking and missile firing events” since 1999.

They’ve been used to test and evaluate the AEGIS Weapon System, upon which the U.S. Navy’s “missile defense” program is based.

Meggitt's role in the BMD weapons program.
