substance but image.
It is Brand Karzai.
Our friend Karzai here has thrown the fashionable
cloak of democracy over
Afghanistan’s warlords.
Unfortunately
it’s a thin façade, a cover, an illusion that protects our new friends who
are now
running Afghanistan from having to make any real, fundamental changes.
