To kill with their swords, warriors need good shields.
Picture the mediaeval
knight
massacring Moslems under the phoney guise of
protecting Christianity. (Notice the cross on
his
shield?)
Crusaders
would never enter the fray without a good shield, or a without a good
pretext.
But neither type of shield protects the public. These shields are designed
to protect warriors
and
to
protect war itself.
