So, on one hand, “missile defense” is literally about defending missiles.
On the other hand, it’s also part of a metaphorical weapons system,
a verbal tool
used in
a battle
to win
our hearts and minds.
The
battles
they have in mind will
defend a whole economic system, a scam, perhaps the biggest
shell game in world history -- to protect publicly-funded weapons
and military institutions
that are
wielded
to protect
the profits reaped by
private corporations.
