ATCO Frontec

Since 1999, Arctec Services, a jointly-owned creature of Calgary’s ATCO Frontec and ASWS, has been doing all of the Operations and Maintenance support services
for the world’s most important “missile defense” radar stations. This US radar network, called the Solid State Phased Array Radar System, is used to track, assess and target ballistic missiles. There are five such facilities in three countries. Pictured in the lower half of the screen, these are in: California, Massachusetts, Alaska, the UK and Greenland.
