Here’s one of America’s so-called “stirred up Moslems.”
 
After Soviets troops withdrew in 1989, the PDP government held on for another three years of trying to fight off the U.S.-backed warlords and their heavily-armed militias.
 
In 1992, the inevitable happened and the fundamentalist warlords took control.

They were led by President Rabbani.

 
However, the war continued because all of the foreign-backed armies just kept on fighting amongst themselves.
