It's so hard to say goodbye and accept that he's gone...May you find
comfort as you remember his life and the legacy he has passed on to you

playing tennis with him and I still wear sunglasses and sunscreen every

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I am glad to know of him
if only through your poignant tribute. Like my own father who was born in
1918 and who was also from Prince Edward Country, he seems to be a man
from the pre-World War II generations who believed in a level playing
field, rejected the cronyism that became the mechanism for personal and
career advancement post WWII, longed for an independent and neutral Canada
that would make a positive contribution to peace, and who lived his life
according to his own principles, come what may.
