I'm honoured to be here for the Sanders commemoration.

He was part of my life because for 30... 40... 50... years I've been taking pictures of him off and on and so he is part of me.  My wife couldn't be here because she had a stroke recently so she passed her regards on.

I just recently published a book called 150 Canadian Peace Stories so I'd like to just pass this on to the Sanders because Roy was a peace person.  He [pointing to Roy's son Richard] is and so was his mother [Sylvia].

To the Sanders.

Note: Koozma was the organiser and guide of the 1985 "Adventure Peace Tour to the Soviet Union."  Roy, Sylvia and Richard were among the 35 Canadians who took part in this trip.  Learn more about this on Roy's "Travels" page, as well here "Peace Messages to the USSR" and here, "Fake News by CSIS Agents."
